How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID settings. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Cloody, and tap "Cancel Subscription." You can also visit Apple's subscription management page. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
What data does Cloody collect?
Almost nothing leaves your device. Your sleep data, voice recordings, routines, notes, and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced privately between your own devices through Apple. We use two external services: RevenueCat for subscriptions (anonymized identifier only) and PostHog for anonymous usage analytics so we can understand how Cloody is used at the population level. Neither service ever receives your messages, voice recordings, or anything you write within the App. You can disable analytics at any time under Settings > Privacy. What are Good Nights?
Good Nights are Cloody's way of tracking your progress. Every night you go to bed on time, your Good Nights count goes up. Unlike streaks, your Good Nights counter never resets. Miss a night? Your count stays where it is. It only goes up — never backwards. Progress, not perfection.
How do voice messages work?
Each morning, you can record a short voice (or text) message to your evening self. When bedtime arrives, Cloody plays it back. Hearing your own voice — your own reasons for wanting to sleep — is more powerful than any app notification. All recordings stay on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.
What is the App Shield?
App Shield uses Apple's Screen Time API to show gentle reminders when you open selected apps or websites after your bedtime. It doesn't block anything — it just gives you a moment to pause and ask yourself if this is what you really want to be doing. You choose which apps to include, and you can turn it off anytime.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund for your purchase.
How do I delete my data?
Go to Settings > Reset All Data within the Cloody app to delete all your sleep data, voice recordings, notes, and preferences from your device. Uninstalling the app also removes locally stored data; iCloud-synced data is managed under your Apple ID's iCloud storage. To stop sharing anonymous analytics, toggle off Share anonymous analytics under Settings > Privacy.
